Capitol Vista

Capitol Vista sits on an angular site in a neighborhood long
marked by segregation and gentrification. Our concept -
Creating Connections Along the Boundaries - transformed
constraint into opportunity. The triangular site became the
source of design: custom geometric screens mirrored its
shape, while lighting punctuated boundaries and pathways
that encouraged gathering rather than division. Art played
a central role, casting residents as everyday superheroes
through bold imagery that affirmed identity, agency, and
pride. The result was a design language that turned edges
into moments of connection and boundaries into bridges.
