We make interior design a standard for all and not a luxury for a few. Design for us goes hand in hand with advocating for equitable access to beautiful and adorned spaces.

Layered and directional textures represented the melding of historical neighborhoods. Three dimensional wood blocks add warmth and create a gathering place. Vibrant and structured metal screens depict the actual site map, providing neutrality. Reflections of the people who would reside in the space were punctuated by the art.
Bringing to life the design narrative, interior elements foster connections and infuse movement through texture. The multi-directional wood grains are reminiscent of the transit tracks, and the depth of the wood elements create a dimensional rhythm. It was equally important to illuminate the different paths, however the light created unifying balance.
The boundaries between communities can either divide people or bring them together. Through stories and history we can create connective moments of gathering. The paths are not always easily identifiable, but at Capitol Vista, the site created a distinct boundary that pointed us in the direction of connection. Our design story required we Create Connections Along The Boundaries
